Sound familiar?

Growth is exciting. Until your backend can't keep up.

Every early successful D2C brand hits the same wall. The tools that got you to your first 500 orders no longer work for the next wave of growth — you need a bigger engine to carry more load.

ERR_01

Orders live in spreadsheets

Every sale day becomes a copy-paste marathon. One wrong row and a customer gets the wrong parcel.

ERR_02

Inventory never matches reality

You oversell on a drop, refund angry customers, and still don't know what's actually in the warehouse.

ERR_03

You can't see your real margins

Revenue looks great. But per-SKU profit after RTO, COD fees, and shipping? Nobody knows.

ERR_04

Your team drowns in manual work

Smart people spending their day reconciling instead of growing the brand. It doesn't scale, and they burn out.

What we build

One system that runs the whole operation.

Not off-the-shelf software you bend around. A system shaped to your exact workflow — the modules you need, connected end to end. No fluff. Like a bespoke suit, tailored to your business only.

01

Order Management

Every channel into one queue. Status tracked from placed to delivered, automatically.

02

Inventory & Warehouse

Real-time stock across locations. No more overselling on drop days.

03

Returns & RTO

The India-specific pain, handled. Automated flows for returns, refunds, and RTO reconciliation.

04

Vendor & Purchase Orders

Low-stock triggers, auto-generated POs, and supplier tracking in one place.

05

Finance & P&L

True margins per SKU after all the fees. Clarity you can actually make decisions on.

06

Integrations

Shopify, Shiprocket, Books, payment gateways — wired together so data flows on its own.

How it stacks up

Rented software, heavy ERP, or a system that's actually yours.

Every option has its place. Here's an honest look at where a custom Ground Work ERP build fits versus the usual alternatives an early-stage D2C brand weighs.

Fit to your workflow Built around exactly how you work Bend your ops to fit their templates Deeply customisable, but heavier
Who owns the data & code You do — in your own database Lives on their servers, you rent access You own it (self-hosted)
Time to live Weeks Days to weeks Months, with a partner
Cost shape Light setup + monthly, no per-seat trap Per-order / per-seat fees that climb as you grow Low licence, high build & upkeep
Add a new feature Overnight — it's your code Wait for their roadmap, or work around it Possible, needs a developer
Technical overhead on you None — fully managed cloud None Server, updates, IT to babysit
Best for D2C brands that make, sell & ship their own product Brands that fit a standard mould Large, multi-department enterprises

We'll be straight with you: at genuine enterprise scale and complexity, Odoo earns its weight. But for a growing D2C brand — even one running its own production — a system that's yours, fast to launch and free to change, usually wins.

Why this approach wins

You own everything. The data, the code, the whole system.

Most software rents you access and traps your data. We build it the opposite way — inside your own database, on code you own, with nothing locked behind plans you don't need.

Your data stays home

Everything lives in your company's own database. You own the data, fully and always.

</>

Your code, built to change

Need a new feature? Build it overnight — no waiting on a vendor or hacking around a rigid system.

No lock-in

No paying for plans and features you'll never touch. You keep only what your business actually needs.

Free to walk

Think we're too pricey down the line? Hand the system to any other developer. It's yours to take.

Pricing

Priced to the complexity of your setup.

Every build is scoped to how your business actually runs, so pricing follows the complexity of your setup — starting as low as ₹25,000. The simplest way to get a number is a quick call about your ops.

Before you ask

Questions founders usually have.

Do I need to understand anything technical? +

No. You describe how your business works in plain terms. We handle every technical decision, build, and configuration. You get a working system and training on how to use it.

How long does a build take? +

A Core Ops build is typically a few weeks. A full ERP depends on scope, but we give you a fixed timeline after the blueprint stage — no open-ended projects.

My business is small. Is this overkill? +

The opposite. The earlier you build clean ops, the less painful scaling is. We size the system to where you are now and design it to grow with you.

Why this and not Odoo? +

Odoo is powerful, and for a large manufacturer with deep multi-department complexity it can be the right call. But most people are told "you need Odoo" simply because they make their own product — and that's not true. We build production, raw material, and B2B quotation flows too, without the months-long deployment, the server to babysit, or the modules you'll never open. You get a system shaped only around how you run, live in weeks, with your data and code fully yours.

Can you integrate with Shopify and my courier? +

Yes. Shopify, Shiprocket, Unicommerce, Zoho Books, payment gateways and more are all part of what we wire together so your data flows automatically.

How do you handle our data? +

An NDA is part of our standard contract, offered before you ask. Your orders, margins, suppliers, and strategy stay yours. The system we build runs on your own Zoho account that you fully own — we never hold your data hostage.

What happens after handover? +

You own the system fully. We offer optional support retainers if you want us on call for changes, new features, or as you scale — but you're never locked in.

Let's replace the chaos with a system.

Tell us how your ops run today. We'll look at it and tell you honestly what's worth building.
